Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club is a 100% NRA member club. Prospective members must be US citizens, be legally capable of purchasing a firearm, belong to the NRA, and possess a Hunter Safety Certificate to be eligible for consideration. New members must apply at a Club meeting with a sponsor (a Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club member) in order to be considered for membership.
The club meetings are held at 8 PM on the second and last Friday of each month. There is a one-time initiation fee of $100. Annual dues are $100 and 16 hours of time a year. In addition, since we are rebuilding our ranges, there is temporary range improvements assessment of $10 per month for the first five years which can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. On the sixth year, a $50 legal assessment is due. Dues and Initiation fees are due when the application is submitted.
The application will be then turned over to our Investigation Committee. They will call you in for an interview. Presuming satisfactory completion of the interview your application will be scheduled for a vote. A letter notifying you of the date and time of that vote will be sent at least one week in advance of the scheduled date.
After a brief introduction at the club meeting, the general membership will vote on whether to accept the application. Once accepted, you will be given the Range Rules, Club By-Laws, a membership card, and the gate card. (The latter will cost $ 8.00)
